Objectives

• Discuss importance of creating a supportive environment for new graduates
• Create meaningful onboarding practices to support new graduate nurses
• Provide tools for leaders to engage with new staff and improve practice environment for new graduate nurses

To receive credit, participants must attend this program in its entirety and complete the program evaluation. 

None of the planners or presenters for this activity have relevant financial relationship(s) to disclose with ineligible companies.

The University of Kansas Health System is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Evaluation and Certificate

The evaluation link will be emailed to participants within two weeks. Upon completion of the evaluation, participants will receive an email with the nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) certificate. It is the responsibility of participants to maintain copies of their completion certificates. If participants do not complete the evaluation within three weeks from the date of the email, the certificate will be unobtainable.
